Make sure that you do not have all applications running in the background. Turn them off completely every now and then. This works differently for all smartphones, e. g. Galaxy devices (hold down the menu button), iPhone (tap twice on the home button) HTC devices (tap twice on the “house” icon). If you check this regularly, your battery will last longer. However, if the battery runs out quickly, it can also help reset the phone to factory defaults. A permanent connection to the W-LAN or a poor mobile network coverage can also weaken the battery capacity. Live apps, i. e. apps that are always active, are also avoided. These apps are pure “battery-eaters”.
